One powerful technology, three solutions adapted to your needs!

DECIDE Toolkit
DECIDE for Intranet
DECIDE for Excel

The MIKAN product lines Decide Toolkit, Decide for Intranet and Decide for Excel offer high level analysis, modelling, and forecasting capabilities.

All modules allow running highly complex analyses. Results are comparable to artificial neural networks avoiding their typical drawbacks like being tricky to tune, being prone to over-fitting, and the difficulty to interpret the results.

All solutions incorporate a non-linear, non-parametric powerful statistical modelling method based on “Multivariate Adaptive Regression Splines” (M-A-R-S).

Decide Toolkit allows integrating the functionality of DECIDE in your applications. Your staff or your customers get access to advanced modelling methods, using the environment they are familiar with.

Decide for Intranet is an Intranet-based client / server application. It requires no programming skill and allows you to create complex models in very short time. Decide for Intranet has been used for energy data management,  modelling of industrial fume exhaust, and sales forecasting, amongst others. It is designed to handle highly complex problems with up to several thousand different variables.

Decide for Excel uses Excel as front-end and is a tool for analysing and forecasting problems with up to ten different variables. It is an entry-level product for those who feel more comfortable with the well known Microsoft Excel software.
